At Pinky’s Pet Resort, we are a family-run boarding retreat for dogs and cats, providing loving 24/7 care in a safe, climate-controlled environment. Our canine guests enjoy access to seven spacious play yards, while our feline friends explore a thoughtfully designed indoor playground created just for cats.

Each day is filled with enrichment and joy—dogs participate in art projects, games, treats, and even story time, ensuring they are mentally engaged, emotionally fulfilled, and genuinely happy. Every stay is designed to feel less like boarding and more like a true staycation, where your pet is cherished as family.

Pinky’s began with a dream—to do what we love while supporting our autistic son, Axel, and our family. Every booking directly helps fund ABA therapy services for Axel. These services provide specialized, one-on-one support that helps children with autism develop communication skills, independence, and confidence in a world that can feel overwhelming.

Since opening Pinky’s, Axel has made incredible progress. He has learned to communicate his needs, use the potty without accidents, eat solid foods with fewer aversions, play with others, and experience fewer behavioral challenges and elopement behaviors. Because of you—our amazing clients—our beautiful boy’s future has been forever changed.

At Pinky’s, unfixed dogs are warmly welcomed and cared for with the same love and attention as every guest.

For safety and comfort, unfixed dogs are not placed in community playgroups. Instead, they enjoy ample private yard time, personalized outdoor rotations, enrichment, and attentive supervision—ensuring a calm, stress-free experience.

How will I know if my dog/cat is doing okay?

You’ll receive daily Paw Reports filled with updates about meals, yard or playtime, naps, and sweet moments from your pet’s day—so you’re never left wondering how they’re doing.

We carefully observe every guest throughout the day, watching behavior, appetite, energy levels, and comfort. If anything seems out of the ordinary, we reach out promptly—no waiting, no guessing.

Most importantly, your pet is cared for by people who truly know them. We learn their routines, preferences, and personalities so they feel safe, seen, and at home.

How do I book my pets vacation?

Booking your pet’s stay at Pinky’s is designed to be smooth, simple, and stress-free ✨

To begin, we use a secure, easy-to-use app where you’ll enter your pet’s details, emergency contacts, and care preferences—all in one place.

Once your dates are confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice for payment. All boarding fees must be paid in full prior to your pet’s stay to reserve their spot.

How do I pay?

Payment at Pinky’s is simple, secure, and seamless ✨

Once you request your dates and they are accepted, you’ll receive an invoice through our app clearly outlining your stay dates and rates. Payment is made directly through that invoice using your credit card.

After payment is completed, you’ll receive a confirmation statement showing your balance paid and your pet’s officially reserved dates—no guesswork, no follow-ups needed.

What do i need to bring for my dog or cat?

We provide most of your pet’s comfort items so drop-off stays simple and stress-free ✨

For Dogs:

Please bring your dog’s food and any medications or supplements, clearly labeled
Dog food bowls only
No water bowls or beds needed — we provide sanitized, resort-approved amenities

For Cats:

Please bring your cat’s food and any medications or supplements
Cat food bowls only
Kitty litter (no litter box needed)
We use insurance-approved disposable litter boxes for every stay to ensure cleanliness and safety

May I book months in advance?

Yes—and we highly encourage it ✨

At Pinky’s, many of our families secure their preferred dates months to a year in advance, especially for holidays, school breaks, and peak travel seasons.

Advance booking allows us to thoughtfully plan care, staffing, and accommodations so every guest receives the calm, personalized experience we’re known for.

If you already know your travel dates, booking early ensures your pet’s spot is reserved at our resort—because at Pinky’s, availability is limited and our calendar fills quickly. 🐶🐱💕

May I pick my dog up after checkout 12 noon?

To maintain a calm, structured resort environment for all guests, pickups are scheduled before 12:00 noon on departure day.

Late pickups impact feeding schedules, rest periods, and care routines for other guests. By keeping departures within this window, we ensure every pet enjoys a peaceful, unrushed experience—right up to checkout time.

If you need additional care beyond your scheduled pickup day, we’re happy to extend your stay by an additional night, pending availability.

Thoughtful scheduling allows us to provide the exceptional level of care Pinky’s is known for. 🐶🐱💕

If I pick my dog up early do I get a credit or refund?

Because your pet’s stay is reserved specifically for your booked dates, we are unable to refill that space if your plans change.

For this reason, there are no refunds or credits for early departure.

This policy allows us to plan staffing, accommodations, and personalized care for each guest in advance—ensuring every pet receives the calm, attentive experience Pinky’s is known for.

I’m not able to go out of town, may I cancel my reservation?

Yes, boarding reservations may be cancelled; however, the first night’s deposit is non-refundable.

We kindly ask for at least 7 days’ notice for all cancellations. Cancellations made with less than 7 days’ notice will be charged in full for the scheduled stay, as we are unable to rebook that reserved space on short notice.

Please note that repeated late cancellations may result in future booking limitations, as our availability is carefully managed to provide exceptional care for every guest.

$10 off for every $100 booked
Maximum discount of $100 per stay

Do you give discounts if I book a month?

At this time, we do not offer discounts for long or extended stays.

As a small, boutique-style facility with limited availability, we are often fully booked. Our rates reflect the level of personalized care, attention, and comfort each guest receives throughout their stay.

Currently, the only discount we offer is our Military Discount, as a thank-you to those who serve.

May I schedule a tour?

We love when families want to learn more about Pinky’s—and we’re happy to welcome your interest ✨

For the safety of our guests and due to insurance and biosecurity requirements, in-person tours inside our buildings or dog yards are not permitted.

Instead, we offer a comprehensive virtual tour on our website, allowing you to explore our cabins, cat condos, and resort amenities in a calm, stress-free way—without disrupting our guests’ routines.

This approach helps us maintain a peaceful environment while still giving you a clear, transparent look at where your pet will stay and be cared for.

My flight arrives after 12 noon. May I pick up my pet after 5:00 PM and pay an extra fee?

We understand travel plans don’t always align perfectly ✨

However, to protect the calm, structured environment our guests rely on, we do not offer late afternoon or evening pickups, even with an additional fee.

Pickups are scheduled before 12:00 noon so we can maintain consistent feeding, rest, and care routines for all pets.

If your travel requires a later pickup, we’re happy to extend your pet’s stay by an additional night, pending availability, so they can continue enjoying the same level of attentive care in a relaxed setting.

May I bring my own dog crate?

We kindly ask that personal dog crates not be brought.

At Pinky’s, all guests stay in our resort-approved, climate-controlled private cabins, which are carefully selected to meet safety, comfort, and insurance standards. Using consistent accommodations allows us to maintain cleanliness, proper spacing, and a calm environment for every guest.

If your dog has special needs or specific accommodations, we’re always happy to discuss options prior to booking to ensure the best possible stay.

My girl’s had a blast staying here! They act like they are bored at home now!!!!! Pinky knows what’s she is doing, she is the real deal!!!!! When we dropped our dogs off, we almost had to pick Butterscotch up to get her out of the car. Butterscotch is a Boxer/ American Bull dog mix who has become a nervous/ scared dog. I never understood why. Except that after we moved from Georgia to Texas in the middle of 2020 and had a family emergency after being here 2 weeks we had to go back home. We had to board the dogs last minute and we could not take them in the facility. When I came home Butterscotch was a different dog. I asked vets and other people whom know what they are doing. They said she was traumatized. To my knowledge nothing has happened. Both of my girls came home more confident and they are different dogs than before they went and stayed with Pinky! The difference was Pinky and her wonderful resort!!! Both of my girls have boarded at other places in town. Butterscotch always came back acting scared. She is so much more well adjusted!!!!! I recently used Pinky's Pet Resort to take care of my two dogs while my family and I went out of town on vacation. It was difficult to leave my dogs with someone that I did not know because my pets are considered family. Pinky did a great job caring for my dogs while in her care. She gave my elderly dog Daisy her meds daily as requested. She also went above and beyond by cleaning my dogs allergy related eye gunk with eye wash. Pinky’s Pet Resort is two thumbs up!! I was sooo nervous about dropping my girls off…I have two boxers, one 2 yr old, very spry & youthful, the other almost 9 & content being on the couch all day long. Neither have ever been kenneled. I cannot recommend this boarding facility enough! I am so SO glad I finally found a place that I can entrust to look after my two larger dogs, a Great Pyrenees and an Akbash. WOW! We cannot recommend Pinky's enough. Boarded our 3 Corgi's overnight and I can attest that Pinky's is not just boarding. We've boarded our babies at other facilities before and yes, they had fun and were well cared for but when your babies are loved on, played with, and cared for the way that ours were, nothing compares to that. That is the most comforting because our babies are spoiled and get a lot of attention at home and I know that they received the same TLC with Pinky. Communication was above and beyond ANYTHING that I have ever experienced! We received pictures throughout the day, a video of them having fun and art work when we picked them up.
